...No thanks but if I want an "european driving experience," I'll buy an European car. I wonder if Walter de Silva has just given up on people copying his designs. I know, I know, there are trends in the industry. But the rear end is SUCH a blatant rip off.

I agree with Lewis, what is happening to ACURA? MDX etc, why would a brand want to immitate others (europeans). Acura is loosing its own character and places whats "hip" and popular onto their new cars. If is an immitator of Euros, does that mean Euro dynamics are better? Since it is being copied, the original should be better. Acura should go back to its motorcycle heritage from Honda. Afterall Honda was a motorcycle company before it was a car company.

Another thing, this MDX reminds me of the Infiniti FX..the headlights, grill, shape.

I got so bored at the Video and all the BS I found that this car looks exactly like the FX, the wedge shape, the tapering roof, the whole side profile looks exactly like the FX. the rear pillar and the trunk lid+glass is moulded in the same way as the FX, it is actually in the same shape but with a bit more "edge" or lines instead of the fluidity of the FX.

What a shame that Acura has allowed this mutation to replace what was a well designed vehicle. As the current version ends its cycle, it certainly could have evolved in a much better direction that this. Another tragedy in the auto industry, and too bad for Acura. A large percentage of the buying public will be turning elsewhere, no doubt. Who needs Ricky Hsu's warrior shield with eye slits? Give me a break.

Big grill concept and rear light geometry a rip-off of the Q7.

I don't care about Acura quality. I would never buy this wannabe SUV.
