Best Looking Modern Engine Bays

Best Looking Modern Engine Bays
With the ever growing trend of manufacturers adding more and more plastic into the engine compartment it's become significantly rarer to find modern vehicles with visually appealing engine bays. However, there are always exceptions to all trends and there are new vehicles out there with great looking engines and engine bays. Without further ado here are the best looking modern engine bays.

Do you agree with the selections or do you have a better looking engine in mind that's missing from the list?

The Veyron's naked engine bay is so cool!

The meaty engine compartments will be the 1.) Koenisgsegg CCXR Edition ,and 2.) the Ultimate Aero. "Modern racy" engine compartment will go with Ferrari 599xx/GTO GTB. Aston Martin for the classy touch engine bay.

Where are the Lexus LF-A and Audi R8? I would've added the Lexus LF-A and Audi R8.

The Lexus LF-A's engine is covered by a shroud. Remove the shroud and you will find an unfinished engine bay with non-smooth metals, and tubes going in all sorts of directions. Lexus doesn't finish the engine bay with polished valve covers etc... they just throw a shroud over it and call it a day. How much does the LF-A cost again? Audi doesn't do that crap.

Here's a picture of the IS-F engine without the shroud. It looks awful

Even with the shroud the LF-A's engine isn't special looking at all.

What's the deal with this blind Lexus Love? Do you honestly think that the LF-A's engine looks nicer (or as nice) as the Ferrari 599GTB engine that is pictured (above)? It isn't even close.

Deboosting? The truth must hurt. No counterpoints? Guess it's hard defending Lexus on this one? LOL!! But that doesn't stop the Blind Fanboys from deboosting.

Blind Fanboy love has no place in society.

Blind stupidity and hatred has no place either.

Hatred? That's a strong word. Just because someone doesn't like something, doesn't mean that they hate it. You must be one of those fanboys?

Perhaps you can provide a valid counterpoint on why the LF-A's engine bay should be considered among the best? I provided my evidence, which is more than you have contributed to this discussion. When your ONLY contribution to this thread isn’t about the subject of this thread, but rather criticizing someone's opinion about it, it makes you look like a blind fanboy. Get off the sidelines and join in on the SUBJECT of this thread. Its only a car. Sorry if my critique rubbed you the wrong way.

This is by far the best looking Engine Bay ever!!!!! Just look at that cut hose in the middle of the right hand side. The way that hose looks? It just ooozes quality.

Those all have to much plastic shroud over them. Compare the Mulsanne V8 to the Continental W12, one looks better than the other.

I like my 2005 Matrix XR AWD the best. No big covers, no tabs and plastic pieces to remove to get to the engine, easy to work around and get to needed areas for maintenance.

Unlike most people, I do not go to dealers or mechanics for service.
