VIDEO: Taking Delivery Of A McLaren F1

Although I ran across these videos a couple of years back, they disappeared off the 'net for a little bit.

But thanks to our friends at GTspirit, they have been located again. If you don't know exactly what it's like to take delivery of a McLaren F1, now's your shot.

Looking at the quality of the footage and what appears to be McLaren's shop, I think it's safe to say that this footage was taken quite some time ago.

You be the judge.


US customer Dan Kennedy and his wife check out the features of their new McLaren F1. British employees of the car manufacturer provider the appropriate information to start the engine, connect the steering wheel to the dash board and indicate to the wife where the luggage goes. Oh and the horn seems to work too...

Wifey's trying too hard to be supportive and get some attention and totally ruins the video. The guy himself seems to forget she even exists the moment he lays eyes on the car.
