It looks akward, there are different design elements that don't go well with eachother. Can't say that it is a great retro design replica.

the big huge round lights in the front....if they take that out,,,it might look a lot better...

I like Duran Duran, at least in the 80s I did. But their outfits were totally 'Members Only' and that's the danger with this car. What's with that weird asymmetrical tail? Lots of nice details that don't necessarily add up to a cohesive design. Personally, I like the headlights... kind of architectural, and generally the front half up to the roof works for me.

The butt is just too plump a rump for me.

If they could stop doing their design work while smoking crack, BMW might have some better-realized automobiles. That said, it's great they're taking risks... look at Lexus and Mercedes to see what happens when 'good' engineering gets wrapped up in yesterdays paper.
