Of ALL The Mainstream Vehicles On The Road Today, Which One Is The Biggest DORKMOBILE?

Of ALL The Mainstream Vehicles On The Road Today, Which One Is The Biggest DORKMOBILE?
One of my favorite descriptors of people is when some calls someone or says THEY are a DORK.

And I bet at one time or another everyone but me has been described that way for BEING one or acting like one. ;)

One of the best examples ever is Rainn Dietrich Wilson (Dwight) on The Office.

A dork is not something anyone wants to be called, ESPECIALLY if you are a man and you are being called one by a woman.

Now let's face it, even the coolest person could be described as a dork in the wrong clothes or by a number of common mistakes.

INCLUDING, the car they drive.

So if you had to name the ultimate DORKMOBILE out of the late model mainstream vehicles on the road today, WHO would win?

Let's pick that gem today that will forever go down in history as the Ultimate Dork Machine or Rainn Dietrich Wilson mobile.

On a side note...

What is the difference between a nerd and a dork or are they one in the same?

Spies, discuss....

The prius is a hippy car not necessarily a dork mobile. Might have to be the PT cruiser

Prius is a nerd car and a hippy car. When communicated as a nerd car, it is positive; think innovation. When it is communicated as a hippy car, that is negative; think political statement. I don't see it much as a dork car.

I'm going with Honda Crosstour. On another note, nerds can be, in their own way, cool. Dorks are hopelessly lost to any coolness whatsoever.

BMW 3-series. Deep down, I don't think too many of us are truly good drivers out there but there's quite a few people who like others to think they are "studs" so they compensate their own shortcomings by buying the 3 series. Maybe the car is not DORKY but seeing the people in them make the car DORKY :-)

I think there was an episode of Simpsons where Nelson showed an subconscious violence towards nerds. I wonder if I have something like that, because I this strong urge to beat up every nerd I see driving a prius.

And I dont care what you look like, if youre behind the wheel of a prius, like every other toyota, you automatically become a nerd.

BMW 5GT...they thought no longer selling svelte, practical 5 series station wagons in the US for this bulbous monstrosity was a sound stategic move. Think again !

Dork Mobile? Acura TL (because they were stupid enough to beleive that the TL is better than a BMW), Lexus ES 350 (because they were stupid enough to pay a premium for a camry), BMW 3-series (because purchasing a 3-series shows the you are a lemming/sheep. And if you are a man? You are a dork because you purchased a chick car).

nonofyobus,

Let me guess, nonofyobus drives either an Acura TL, 3-series, or a Lexus ES350? How else can you explain the unprovoked personal attack. LOL!!

Easy, the current Chrysler Sebring Sedan. This is one automobile that I cannot understand the motive behind purchasing. Every other car mentioned here has its niche.

Could someone please write another article titled
"What is the biggest tool-mobile out there"
Talking about dorknerds is great and all, but I'm sure if we were talking about tools there would be an endless stream of priceless, hilarous, and maddening comments.

The Difference between a Dork and a Nerd Is that a Nerd (AKA Geek) may actually possess useful skills and ability (i.e. Computer Programmer) and limited interpersonal skills where as the Dork is devoid of both...

The Nerdmobile is either a Prius for the Nerd with money...and for the Nerd without money it would have to be the Hyundai Accent GS (No A/C)

The car that all Dorks aspire to is a 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z with 178,000 miles...At least, that's what they all seem to drive
