VIDEO REVIEW: BMW's M6

not a big fan of the design of the 6-Series. Far fetched to say, "And the fact is the design is beautiful too." Fact? More like personal opinion.




I hate how the new BMWs rear ends (with exception of the new 3 Coupe which is really growing on me - conversely, I hate the 3 Sedan) really look like the rear-end of a 1994 Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge. Ewww.

Now, this, "I declare as 'fact'" is beauty! Everything looks like it belongs; there are no explanations on why you should think it is beautiful. I am no big fan of the Mr. Potatoe-Head designs of Chris Bangle. The seperate elements in the designs look good but when put together they look very bangled/mangled.

Wow! I'm Speechless, after how BMW fanatic says that everyone copy their styles. But the Real Proof is out, BMW copy the 1994 Chysler Plymouth/Dodge. What you BMW fanatic got to says now? Let hope other auto company Do Not copy the new 2006/2007 GS/IS trade mark design. Let hope BMW/MB does not copy the styling of the new GS430 and IS 350. Rumor is going around that Mb is copying Lexus with their new car with headlamp that look like the new 2006 Lexus GS.

I Can't Help Hating Chris Bangle

Wi..wi..wi..BMW copy chrysler and now got caught and here is the proof. Come on are you dump are what?, off course BMW is going make it a little difference so people would not notice. No one is Dump enough to copy exactly how other car look, they would add a little of their own style to it. To me every auto company copy other company and add some of their own design to it.

... Look at the lights. The lights are almost the exact same except a slight variation. Other than that, the rear end is practically identical in terms of the way the line flanks the side and meets up with the top side of the light. Also, the trunk lid is elevated in the exact same way the 6-Series does. The lid of the boot is also the exact same. How DOESN'T the rear-end of the 6-Series look the same as the Cirrus/Breeze/Stratus? Hmmm? Don't worry, I actually don't expect you do respond truthfully; clearly you two are in denial (sad, because these are just cars and not principles) and need therapy before you come to grips.

If bangle copied then I say more power to him. Not only did the bangle BUTT out sell the S class, but they did it with a secret weapon that was RIGHT UNDER MERCEDES' own nose at the Chrysler office!!!

Way to go Bangle... mind you the backside looks more like it was ripped of a Porsche and tinkered with in my opinion.

Man, how many times can you take 4 wheels, 2 doors and make something that doesn’t share some similarities with something else.

Over all shapes and touches like taillights and headlights will typically resemble something else to a degree. There are only so many basic shapes to work with and still meet regulations. A least this redesign is a bit more avant-garde and doesn’t share the “Nissan” look of the 5 series. Overall is looks well proportioned and aggressive.

BMW look better than Lexus and Audi, dream M53R. First of all, BMW look like Shit on all of it model except the BMW 650. In fact it so Ugly, it Circus Freak Ugly and to make it worse now they are copying Kia/Hyundai. Even the new Kia/Hyundai line up look better than Bmw, in fact GM make better looking car than BMW. BMW has some of the oddest cup holder? But since you instisted and STUPID enough to says bmw is the best, best of the Shit list more like it. Sorry M53R I do not have a magic Won to change your stupidity thinking about Lexus or Audi.

I am one of the biggest BMW fans lover out there--nothing will ever change that. However, the very first time I saw the 2002 seven series, I thought of the Dodge Stratus. From time to time cars from different manufacturer will have similar styling. I am sure that these BMW designs were inspired by the Dodge Stratus. The two cars are worlds apart when it comes to design details, quality, luxury and performance. Only one with a myopic mind would dwell on any so called similarities between the cars. Other than the fact that both can be identified as cars, they have nothing else in common.
