Bmw Vision EfficientDynamics supercar will cost less than $200,000
At the official launch of the 2012 Bmw 1-Series M Coupe, Ian Robertson, BMW Sales and Marketing Director said that the upcoming Vision EfficientDynamics supercar will cost less than 150,000 Pounds or $200,000. This means that the car will be cheaper than the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS E-Cell which will cost around $250,000 when it will hit the dealerships in 2012.

For those who don’t know, the new supercar from the Bavarian manufacturer will use the combination of a 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine with a hybrid synchronous motor at the front axle and a full-hybrid engine at the rear axle.

Probably when it also has over 500lb-ft of torque, does 0-60 in the fours, laps the Ring on electrical power under 8 minutes, and gets 75mpg.

You know what's even more fail then a 328hp car getting 75mg and looking nice at the same time? A 50mpg car with 134hp whose sole goal is to get mileage and low fuel emissions regardless of looks or performance.

This is i100, which is a hybrid, and there will be a M100, which will be a real supercar, which will do 0-60 in low 3s. i read this from several magazines.
