VIDEO: Hennessey's VENOM GT Should Be Nicknamed "Firebreather"

Just about any car with 1,000 horsepower gets respect. But recently, John Hennessey's Venom GT project has been getting a ton of press lately and reactions.

And there's a good reason for it. With its immense power and modified, Lotus-based chassis there is not much to really "hate" on. Even better, when you see its dyno video you'll probably love this car even more.

Its actually an expensive kit car. Not only that its a Lotus copy set at 150% over the original.

it's an overpriced kit car, but that's ok. it's more disturbing that all car magazines and websites still support this crook. i'm pretty sure that an elise and a zr1 owner call Hennessey twice a week, to ask where their cars are...
