Europe's FREAK Weather 1, Lamborghini 0

Europe's FREAK Weather 1, Lamborghini 0
If you're not in tune with what's going on in Europe, currently there are "freak" weather conditions dumping tons of the white stuff across the continent. In turn, this has led to a little bit of chaos at airports and on the roads.

For one unfortunate Lamborghini driver, this meant his Murcielago Roadster got cracked up when he hit a guardrail.

This frustrating situation only was compounded when moments later the Lamborghini got hit by a truck.

From what we understand, no one was injured. Be safe out there, Spies!

With the current winter conditions the roads in big parts of Europe are dangerous to drive. For this Murciélago the route ended in the guard rail. As if that wasn’t enough, a few moments later a truck crashed into the Lamborghini, luckily without too much damage...

What's so funny about that?

I have clients who put winter tyres on their Porsche Turbos, R8s and Lambos.

AWD Supercars with winter tyres is 10x better than RWD or FWD Sedans with winter tyres

you are correct uaw. these people just don't realize that unless you're driving a Nissan GTR (all-weather super car) then you have no chance on beating mother nature.

@clark

That is a Gallardo.

The car pictured in the accident was a Murcielago Roadster.

Might want to take the Defender 110 on a day like that. I'm just saying.

Unless he is an Italian Ninja and was trying to hide from the evil truck driver by blending in with the snow.

I applaud a guy who has the brass to drive this thing in these kinds of conditions. I'm with you man, damn the price it's meant to be driven! Besides that's why we pay those enormous insurance premiums. Regardless of where he keeps it, I don't mind seeing the lizard pull out his wallet. Take that Geico!

I happen to know from experience that there is nothing wrong with driving these type of cars in snow. 4WD is fine if you have the right type of tyres.

The only problem is that doing safe speeds in these type of cars is extremely difficult and boring and you soon start creeping up in speed as second gear cruise in a Gallardo is over 40Mph.

No problem while cruising, Once you touch the brakes though.....DRAMA.

Same has happened to me in Germany and Upstate NY.
