Do You Think The New A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI Looks Sexy In Black?

Do You Think The New A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI Looks Sexy In Black?
The holidays are rapidly approaching and Agent001is on his way back home with gifts for the family. As he was walking through the airport in Munich though, he stumbled upon the first example of the all new Audi A7 Sportback in black that we have seen

I don't know about you, but black is where it is at when it comes to the new Sportback.  The color and the lines simply go together to give a subtle and yet sophisticated look.  It is all about details though, and you can tell the A7 isn't short in that regard as well.  Just look at the cover that  sits in the center of the matte finished wheels and you see it covers the lug nuts that typically get get nicked up over time.  Sometimes it is those little things that add up to tell you nothing is overlooked.

Ahh, audispies.com! Gotta love the spin... S'ok, we know how it works. Autoexpress were calling it "superb" and "head-turning" when it was just an idea.

Nice enough for a lastkahn, but as conservative as the CLS isn't - needs some sole for it's body - needs Mr. Callum's touch...

I don't care if you call it "Sportback" "Crosstour" "GT" or "Panamera" ... it is still ugly and wrong.

I know everyone is going to say, "new exiting design" and "special niche market" and "wonderful rear headroom". But lets be honest. If you can remember back to when you were a kid (for some of us that is becoming harder and harder) would you honsetly have this posted up above your bed as a tribute to automotive design excellence?

...Yeah thats what I thought.

I could have spell checked this a tad better.

The A7 and Panamera to me are not comparable to the 5GT and Crosstour. The A7 and Panamera are both low an wide compared to the tall bulky look of the GT and Crosstour.

Probably not. I would have had an RS5 however.

I wonder if nissan is flattered that they stole the rim design from the m56 sport, and if Mazda is honored that they stole the window line from the Mazda6.

But to answer, nope; it's about as sexy as watching Cam kiss Mitchell on Modern Family.

I'm one of the biggest Audi fans but i can't say that i like their designs lately. I do like the R8, A5/S5/RS5 and S5 sports back but anything after that I've got to say WTF are they doing over there and this A7 thing, no comment.

"ANYthing from MINI is far more cool than an Audi."

The comparative degree of the word "cool" is "cooler", and NOT "more cool". That shit irritates me to no frigging end.

It could have been worse. He could have said "far more cooler", and been completely wrong.

This thing is twice as good as the BMW 5GT. But then everything is relative, two times zero is still zero. How's that for killing two birds (Audit aficionados and BMW loyalists) with one stone :-) PS IMHO no one does hatchback sedan better than the old Citroen.
