Akio Toyoda feels like attending his daughter's wedding as LF-A deliveries begins
Toyota Motor Corp. has begun deliveries of its Lexus "LFA" high-performance sports car.

The V-10 engine LFA is the first Japanese car sporting a lightweight carbon-fiber body and at a sticker price of 37.5 million yen is the most expensive Japanese car in history.

"I feel as if I'm attending my daughter's wedding ceremony," an emotional Toyota President Akio Toyoda, who participated in the decade-long development of the vehicle, told reporters.

What an incredibly boring wedding car. You'd think that they'd at least use a white LS for the event...

I'm not a Corolla fan, but a new car as a wedding present would be pretty sweet! I'm guessing daddy wants grand kids.

have any of you read the article?

Toyoda says he feels as if he's attending his daughter's wedding ceremony, which his daughter (in this case) is the LFA and he is giving her away to the lucky person.

SMH!!!
