Kia prepares to introduce two mid-sized sedans within 6 months
Kia Motors will soon replace the slow-selling Amanti sedan, following the similarly sized, redesigned Optima sedan now being rolled out. The Amanti replacement, tentatively called the Cadenza, had been expected in April 2010 but its exact launch date has yet to be confirmed. Kia officials say only that that car will be launched in the first half of 2011. Introducing two sedans in rapid succession might be a problem, although U.S. executives say the vehicles are aimed at different customers.
