You can get a BMW for $30,000. But you are not "getting" a "BMW" until you spend at least $40,000 on features that should be standard in the luxury car market.

I guess the same applies for the 1M, although in order to get one properly equipped for daily driving in luxury sport, you need to drop over $50k.

BMW does it again! I wonder how much the Xenon HIDs are on this, typically a 700-1100 BMW exclusive!

xenons are standard, just as they are on every "35" series model (135, 335, 535, etc.)

and every other M model as well.

Good luck finding a 1M without at least one of those option packages installed in North America.

The car is shaping up though.
