2011 Acura ZDX priced from $46,505 in the United States
Acura has announced that the 2011 ZDX will have a starting price of $46,505, a $150 increase over the 2010 model. Acura has very high hopes for the ZDX but through the end of November, only 3006 units have been sold. The 2011 ZDXs will still use Acura’s 3.7-liter V-6 with an output of 300hp and will still be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Each ZDX will offer Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and 19-inch wheels as standard.

$46,505!?! If I had to pick an Acura with that kind of cash to burn I would grab a last gen TL Type S and a used RSX Type S for a daily.

My lord I know I hate comparing other cars that are not in segments, but when you look at what's available in the market for this kind of money it astonishes me.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. $46K? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

"Acura has very high hopes for the ZDX but through the end of November, only 3006 units have been sold."

So increasing the price will make people want it more? That thar be some good business strategery.

"It combines the best attributes of a coupe, a sedan and a sport utility – all wrapped in a beautifully sculpted package – that will attract an entirely new luxury customer to the Acura brand."

Yes because combining 3 vehicle types together has always turned out such a stellar product. My real question is this...you build a midsize SUV with more head room in the rear and the same engine for $4000.00 less. Why in gods name would anyone want to pay more for less?

There is no need for this piece of garbage. Honda continues to shoot itself in the foot.

I scoff at the price points of well equipped 3-series. For a luxury car they offer nothing in the almost 40k price tag of a new 3, you need to add $10,000 in extras to keep on par with many other competitors.

I'll probably get (-) for saying this but at least we are in agreeance.

Thats because a 50-60k BMW offer benchmark handling, goes like stink, is an attractive and award winning car, and is all BMW. Where as the the ZDX is almost non-selling, grotesque, unoriginal, monstrosity based off of a $28,000 Honda SUV.

“Street racing punk” where the hell did that come from? Wanting a fast well handling car is the desire of all driving enthusiast. I don’t know the demographic that Acura was aim for, but I know it’s not very big: nobody is buying this pig.

As far as your opinion on the “BMW mentality” it just that an opinion. BMW mentality is the same as other luxury car buyer, with a bit more looking for a sportier ride.

Congratulation to your mom on here TSX wagon she will be one of the few hundred that buy one in the coming year.

Why does it have to be so expensive? Sweeet looking CUV though. I"m not ashamed to say I like it. I like that a lot. Best looking Acura I seen a in a long time (even if it did steal the Mazda 6's side profile).

I think that is to Much money that Acura is asking for this car. Isn't the MB ML350 is around the same price? For that price I would rather get a MB ML350 instead, the price Acura is asking is to high.

I put the ZDX bird-beak in the same category as the Pontiac Asstec and Nissan Juke - UGLY. The "theoptimisticpessimist" blogger hit it dead on. You pay $50K for an elite performance handling sports car, fun to drive and good looking. Do you really think I'd turn my head back around, to catch 1 more glimpse of that bird beak ZDK $46K price - NOT!!!. But I'd take another look over my shoulder for that sexy BMW M car sitting. there.

The ZDX should cost less than the MDX and about where the TL starts so its a little higher than the RDX and TSX Wagon but still lover than the MDX. And Acura, If you want more feedback... Ditch the current RL and bring back the Legend ;)

If the rear door handle wasn't where it is and was on the door where it belongs like the front one it would look much better. That design worked good for the old Nissan pathfinder but not for something

Good looking crossover. And ZDX shouldn't be compared to 3 series but 6 cylinder X6. Honda should consider launching it in Middle East also as X6(similar concept) is very popular here.

Acura just close up shop and call it history. You guys dropped the ball after the 2002 TL Type S Aspec which I thought was the last good looking car from Acura.
