I like this idea, I think this would be a good partnership

Maybach needs a pair of outside eyes.

I thought Maybach was deader than Saturn...In a world of pointless cars, Maybach is the most pointless

As I was looking at these images of these stratospherically priced automobiles, they seemed somehow familiar. Then it dawned upon me: If Cadillac had kept up it's leadership from the 1950s, and sustained it through to today, I imagine they would looks something like this. (I don't mean this as an insult, for those who may interpret this offensively).

I still think they should stick with Mercedes-benz. A little bit more effort, a Supercar like the Exelero, some presidential Limos, and I think Maybach would be a success. Of course an upcoming model should be based on the 2012 S-class, but it must look NOTHING like it, so people would stop calling Maybachs BIG-ass S-classes. I don't think its pointless, its such a shame that many people don't even know about it.

I like the idea of this. Aston Martin is probably better in visioning the future in terms of designs. While both companies create quality products Aston has the edge in terms of designing. Mercedes makes great motors so it's a great trade off for both.
