Recalls issued for Cadillac CTS and Honda Accord V-6 vehicles
A recall has been issued for General Motors Co.’s Cadillac CTS cars for the model years 2005 to 2007. A notice posted on U.S. safety regulators' Web site indicated that a mat that senses car passengers in the front seat might break and disable the front air bag. GM said that the mat in the front seat may "kink, bend or fold” because of the repeated "flexing" of the passenger sensing system mat in the front seat. There’s a risk that the connections in the bag will break, making the sensor incapable of detecting the front passenger.
