What NEW Vehicle Under $75k Would You Have Santa Leave In Your Garage If It Was Free?

What NEW Vehicle Under $75k Would You Have Santa Leave In Your Garage If It Was Free?
Now for many automotive enthusiasts this isn't an easy question. You have to remember, $75,000 is a lot of coin and can get you a multitude of vehicles. All of them nice, mind you.

Let's see, here are some examples of what 75 LARGE could get you:

- Audi S4

- BMW M3

- Cadillac Escalade

- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

- Porsche 911

- Lexus IS C

- BMW X6

- Range Rover Sport

- Infiniti IPL G

With that said, you have plenty of options but which one speaks to you? What's the car you believe would be the best Christmas present for Santa to leave you in the garage? Agent 00R has his answer but I'll save it for the comments.

**Additionally, the entire AutoSpies team would like to extend season's greetings and a "Merry Christmas" to all of our fellow Spies out there. Thank you for your support, comments and submissions in 2010, it's been real. Now let's make 2011 even BETTER!

I would stretch and get a Super Luxury Used car for 75K like a Conti GT or an Aston Vantage. However, if it has to be new, def. a Porsche 911, CTS-V, S5, M3 (squeeze in a convertible at that price and it will be a great buy)...

No-brainer...2011 BMW M3 sedan in Interlagos Blue with Silver Novillo extended leather, aluminum trim, Competition, Premium, Convenience, and Cold weather packages, DCT, several stand alone options gets me just under or at that magic number. Wanted an M3 since I fist saw the E36 in Motor Trend when in high school. I'd take a late model E46 if Santa had any left over..r u listening Santa?

Just makes me smile when i drive it. Ofcourse in manual. Haha. Realstate business is good so got myself a dream car. Dont hate please. Life is too short

Wow that is a tough one, I kind of like the BMW M3, Audi RS5 and Lexus IS-F. I know it not the fastest car out of the three, I think I go with the Audi RS5, I think it is gorgeous and more rare where I live.

Just a nice 335i Xdrive Touring with a stick and a fake carbon fiber finish Thule rooftop storage unit. My weekend escapes at the ski station with the kids would not be the same anymore with an awesome car as this. And for the money left, give it to charity.

Merry Christmas all

Theres no way I could get me a 911 for 75K so i'd have to go with the triple black E550 Cabrio that I just picked up. I wish Santa would take the car payment off my hands!

I would probably go for an E-Class as well as it's grown on me a lot this year. I got a 911 Turbo PDK why would I want a base 911 so I would go for luxury. The E-class is definitely very well made in my books. I love the Range Rover but I don't want an SUV yet.

Yes and no. Its' the fastest sedan around the Nurburg ring. As far as top speed, the BMW M5 will hit 200mph with the limiter removed.

No it's not. Go back and check your figures. And, if you negotiate it properly, you can get it under $75k with a slew of options. These vehicles are a low volume seller. And not because of exclusivity, for obvious reasons.

You'd have to be high to take a S4 over an M3.

It would be a tough call between the practical, easy to live with, still incredibly fast M3 and the legendary 911. Can you get a turbo for under 75k? If not I'd have to go with an M3 sedan if it was my daily driver, coupe if it was a weekend car.

fugeesnfunionsfugeesnfunions - 12/25/2010 3:15:23 PM

Another option would be to get a slightly used, pretty loaded M3 for about 55k then spend 12k on a supercharger upgrade to bring the power well above 600 hp. Supercharged M3's are ridiculous, that would be one fun car to drive on a daily basis.
