GM Recalls 100,000 Vehicles For Axle And Airbag Issues
General Motors Co. is recalling nearly 100,000 vehicles in two separate campaigns because of concerns that air bags could fail to deploy in crashes and rear axles could lock up.

A third campaign, announced by Isuzu Motors this week, covers some 2006-07 GM trucks built by the Japanese automaker.

Toyota is the king of recalls.GM is not even close.Every manufacturer has recalls.GM was number one for 75 years.Toyota has been for 1 year and look what happened. They will be surpassed very soon.

Hmm a recall where the unintelligent driver can simply use the brakes or an axle that locks up?

How many people died from the lockups? In case you did not know when a car is on full throtte the brakes are basically no use since they run on Vacuum. There is more to it than the pedal jamming as we will find out soon.

My brother's Hummer H-3T Alpha had an air bag problem, the air bad deployed when he hit a pothole! He was without his Hummer for a month, his replacement truck was the 1/2 ton chevy, the full size chev was worse on gas too! He didn't like it too much, I like his H-3 though, and so does he, although he is considering selling it from all the negative responses he gets from dumb angry people, our population is really dumb! regardless how much education they have generally.

Leave it GM to have axle lock-up issues. One of the simplist mechanical components of a motor vehicle and they can't get it right. Please somebody put a bullet in GM. But in the end they will survive because their stuff is pretty and people will buy it. The more things change - the more things stay the same...
