VIDEO: The 2011 Dodge Challenger Caught LIVE

The 2011 Dodge Challenger for whatever reason still remains cool. While the new Camaro appears a bit too cartoony and the Ford Mustang may not have enough "pop" to earn street cred, the Challenger is a blend of vintage, contemporary and BIG design. When you have a car this big, it's hard to ignore its presence on the road.

Thankfully, Chrysler Group noticed that the competition stepped up its motor game though and has given the 2011 Challenger a bit of a lift in the power department. With its new V6 powerplant, you can expect the 300 horsepower plus base model to bring its "A" game to the party.

The V6 is a welcomed powerplant and puts the challenger in competition in that catagory not only with horsepower but also in fuel mileage. 2013 there will be a single turbo and a twin turbo version with 420 hp. The current SRT8 392 hemi [6.4] is 470 hp and 470 fpt and does the skidpad at .93gs. Not bad for a five passenger 4100 lb vehicle.
