Big Deal, Toyota has problem, and at least they admit it and try to correct. Good thing is that they admit the problem and are recalling the vechicle before someone get hurt. Last month GM recall all Half Million of their vechicle, but the bad thing is that GM knew there were problem their model but they did not care. All Auto comapany has problem, either alot or a little, but the main thing is to admit it and correct.

TOyota is becoming a little too much like the bog three now. Maybe the secret to ultimate car quality is to not become one of the worlds largest automakers. I find it HILARIOUS that when BMW or Mercedes or any brand other than a Japanese car has a recall, these Lexus and Toyota freaks say OOOOHHH WHAT A P.O.S.!! But now look at their comments....and I quote (Lexus)"Big Deal, Toyota has problem," LOL!!! Big Deal?? You all make it a big deal when a German brand has a quality problem.... People cars are machines built by humans and they humans are prone to error. SO that's why when I purchase a car as long as the thing ahs a warranty and I can make a deal (which I have) with the dealer to have a loaner whenever it is in the shop, I could care less. I want a car I will enjoy driving everyday, and I mean DRIVING.... I have had a 3 series, a MINI Cooper (still own) and I love to drive those vehicles....If a cup holder breaks, so be it, if the power window switch fails, its UNDER WARRANTY...But instead of me being bored driving to work in some bland-mobile, I at least have fun....So to all you Japanese Car fans that always down the Germans and American brands....HAHAHAHAHA.....Toyota is not so bullet proof! ( I know that was childish, but what can I say....lol)

At least they admit it? Come on they either recall em or the feds force them to.

But also that is part of the overall reliability rate argument you guys tout so highly. The cracks in the armour are apparent, you just need to look closer.

I expected this and there will be more recalls to come from Toyota/Lexus. As Toyota/Lexus tries to surpass the Germans in performance, they will start to lose that very good Qaulity they are known for. And now that Cadillac seems to be on the right track with both Interior Qaulity and HP, Lexus will find it difficult to hold the #1 spot in the U.S.A. for much longer. Cadillac will take enough market share from Lexus to move either BMW or MB to the top in the U.S.A. Lexus was built for Americans and now that Toyota/Lexus feels comfortable with their sales in the U.S.A. they are trying to extend that to Europe. But has you can see from the recent surveys Toyota/Lexus is finding very difficult to compete with Germans in performance, maintain good Qaulity, and keep one eye on Cadillac (GM) here in the U.S.A. Toyota/Lexus is better off sticking to what they know, which is Qaulity. Do you see BMW or MB straying from their core values, I don't think so. Both of those German companies recognize what's happing in the automotive industry then react with the principles of which the company was founded. The American car companies are starting to do the same. I'm forecasting cloudy days ahead for Toyota/Lexus in the very near term.

Funny how people always say 'big deal' when Toyota has a recall; then say 'GM sucks!' everytime GM has a recall. Hmmmmm???

not because TOyota wanted to, Japanese had investigated it and prompted Toyota to do so....I am still laughing and I will remember these folks next time VW or BMW have a recall so I can make sure to tell them that these "problems could occur in any car" LOL!

The only reason that it is a big deal, is because of the boastful statements of a few. They seem to relish in pointing out how superior they are. This just brings them back to earth.

GM you tend to expect a recall every few months.

Today more than 30,000 2005-2006 Covettes model is being recall due to roof problem. The Roof on the Covettes might FLEW OFF when driving. Ok to be fair with dbloseven big deal, every auto company has problem, just fix it, happy dbloseven. Since I says this to GM company too. In my opinion and the fact off course all Auto Comapany including Japanese company, they all have some kind of problem with their car, either Minor or Major problems, just fixed it.

Compared to the garbage coming out of the "Big 3" in the USA, Toyota and Honda are miles ahead. That's why GM is dumping jobs by the tens of thousands and Honda and Toyota are building plants in the USA and Canada!
