More Than One Quarter Of All Complaints Filed This Year Were For Toyota Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration received more than 40,000 complaints through Dec. 14, four times the usual volume, a research firm said. Toyota's high-profile recalls helped trigger the increase.

Driver complaints to federal highway safety regulators soared this year, spurred by a slew of Toyota Motor Corp. recalls and a rush by other automakers to announce fix-it campaigns that focused the public's attention on auto defects.

If 100% of the complains were on Toyota, their cars are STILL more reliable than all others. What Toyota needs is to add some sportiness in its lineup and improve the interior quality. They used to have a very good interior on their trucks and small cars but they derailed in the last decade, so they need to get that fixed.

I have a 2008 Infiniti G35S and I wish I got myself an IS350 instead. The quality in Lexus and reliability are not matched by anyone.

We have owned A Lexus LX470,Infiniti Q45 and Maxima in our family.The Lexus was Junk while the Nissan and Infinity were way better in reliability.I spent too much time at the Lexus dealer and everytime I went, there was an arguement.The service guy started like this : This never happens to a Lexus ...... Never happens my @#%
