EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS: Spies Snap First Photos From The San Diego Auto Show

Even though the San Diego Auto Show is not the most well-known of the circuit, it does get more foot traffic than any other show in the U.S.

And we can see why. It's probably due to a number of factors:

1. Amazing weather -- you can't beat San Diego.
2. Proximity to America's finest city right outside its door -- hate to say it but we're not in Detroit ;)
3. So many people/families on Christmas vacations looking for something to do.
4. The Holiday bowl fans in town and the big parade.
5. It's the kickoff show for the new year.
6. SAN DIEGO IS JUST AWESOME!!!!

Oh-kay, oh-kay, maybe we're just bragging because it's OUR town but it's hard to dispute the facts about America's finest city.

With that said, enjoy the first and the best photos you will see from the show floor.

There are a ton of great cars to peruse.

Don't miss the VW Bus section and the Off-Road, All-Terrain wheelchairs. We never thought we would be saying that but we're NOT kidding! They are VERY cool and unique!

They state it "gets more foot traffic than any other in the USA"
They cannot use attendance because that would not be accurate or correct.

Various sources state the San Diego Auto Show attendance at around 500,000
2010 Detroit Auto Show had 715,000 -source detroit news
2009 New York Auto Show Attendance 1,200,000 (technically the largest)

I understand though...I used to deal with press releases, you gotta get people excited and make them feel like everyone else is doing it, and get them to go see it. You come up with stuff that people cannot verify, like something like foot traffic.
