2012 Ford Focus EV Making Its Debut In Las Vegas, Not Detroit

Although the 2011 Detroit Auto Show is just around the corner, Ford has chosen to unveil the Focus EV in Las Vegas at this week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Well, that was an interesting turn.
Set to go up against the big-time players, Chevrolet's Volt and Nissan's Leaf, the Focus EV is said to achieve approximately 100 miles on a charge thanks to lithium-polymer batteries, which will charge in around eight hours. Nothing entirely groundbreaking here, except it will be interesting to see how it drives compared to the competition.
