2011 DETROIT AUTO SHOW SNEAK Preview, And The FUN Begins

As the headline reads, "And The FUN Begins." That's the best way to describe the Detroit Auto Show. Although it has lost its way in the past couple of years due to a dismal automotive industry and an even more depressed Detroit, the Agents think this is going to be an outstanding show for 2011.

It seems that since the 2010 Paris Motor Show, everyone is getting back on track and turning up the heat. Products are getting sexier and more competitive, and even Porsche is coming to this year's Detroit show with a big reveal. Although much of the speculation is pointing to a 918 Coupe, we cannot confirm that just yet.

But before we turn our attention and look forward to next week's chaos, let's take a walk down memory lane and see what the past Detroit shows have brought to fruition.

Some of these concepts never made it to production, for example, take a look at the gorgeous and modern interpretation of the Lamborghini Miura. Or how about the Ford Airstream and Acura NSX concepts from the 2007 Detroit Auto Show?

A couple of things:

1. Brunettes for the win in Detroit, they all look amazing.
2. Wow, I want that Miura immediately!
3. Jetta coupe looks great and masculine. TC sales are going to drop!
4. Jeep concept looks awesome. FJ sales are going to drop even further!
5. Please retake some shots of the NSX concept with a ND filter or under-expose you shot a third of a step to eliminate the harsh glare.

6. Please give us a good shot of the girl with the fairy tattoo over her right shoulder. You're teasing us.

I guess you missed that part.

Oh yeah and you didn't see the whole gallery, which shows the first couple of pages of old shows then about 10-12 pages of cars that will be at the show.
