The SPIES Get A CLOSER Look At The 2012 Hyundai Veloster's Interior
It was only yesterday that Hyundai released one teaser image of the all-new 2012 Hyundai Veloster. Now we know a couple of things:

1) It will feature an asymmetrical design, which has a third door for the backseat on the passenger side

2) It will have a split-window hatch as seen on hybrids like the Toyota Prius

But that wasn't good enough for Agent 001 who took the liberty to blow up the image, specifically in its center console and shifter area.

We suggest taking a look at the modified image down below to get an idea of the center stack; however, the intriguing piece is the shifter. Note: it has a leather boot.

Judging from the shifter, should we be looking forward to a manual transmission or a dual-clutch gearbox? Perhaps both?

Recent speculation has suggested that a dual-clutch is in order for the Veloster; however, we cannot confirm nor deny that as Hyundai has its lips sealed. Looks like we'll have to wait until Jan. 10 to find out the deal on Hyundai's CR-Z fighter.

I really like it! It's not too overdone like the 2011 Hyundai Elantra!

Is there any additional info on the car yet or are we stuck waiting until Detroit? I would love to know if aside from this DSG thing, if they will offer a manual version or plan on a slightly more powerful model (say with the Sonata turbo 4 or the Kia Forta 158hp 4?)

I may have to go test this car out as it would fit into my budget much easier than the Golf R.

I forgot it's not as timeless or original as the BMW dash and gaugework. More orange coloring please.
