Audi Sales Top 1 Million Vehicles; CEO Says Driver's Soon Will Be Able To Rearrange Vehicle Displays
For the first time in recorded history, Audi sold more than a million cars per year. In 2010, Audi sold 1.092 million cars worldwide. In the year before, it was 949.700, and that’s a plus of 15 percent, Audi CEO Rupert Stadler told reporters on the sidelines of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Stadler was a keynote speaker there, and delivered the stump speech of cars which will be part of the Internet and will be communicating with other cars and central databanks, whether you like it or not.

Just read about the electric Focus and this. I think a lot of the center stack and displays need a no-nonsense easy mode for many drivers. Do we really need music information next to the tachometer.

meh... This is nothing much. The Lexus LFA and the LS 600h L both have digital displays, but what I love the most about them is that they both have physical rings running around the speedometers or tachometers. I mean... anyone can make a beautiful animation with various options.
