DETROIT AUTO SHOW: It's Only Days Away, Who's Going To Surprise YOU This Week?

It's only days away, but one of the largest automotive events in North America is about to happen. Although we have an idea of who's bringing what, you have to remember that there usually are one or two surprises.

Take, for example, Mercedes-Benz. Will they bring the 2012 C-Class Coupe? Or, how about Volkswagen? Is the recently announced Golf R going to make its stateside debut?

I sure hope so!

Then there is Porsche who is said to have something spectacular. That is a very bold claim considering this is the environment where someone can bring out a project no one knows about.

With that said, who are you looking forward to seeing and who do you think may have a surprise for us this year?

Good point! We already know what's coming.I would say in some respects I'm a little dissapointed that there do not appear to be any surprisies.Take Porsche for instance. Either they have cleverly misled the media in stating a "Spectaclular Surprise" or they actually do intend to bring out somthing that the media "really" has no knowledge about.So far what we find is a Coupe version of the 918 concept car from last yr. Further it is not intended to be a "production" car. There has been a lot of hipe even on this sight about what Porsche is bringing to the show. It is my wish that we "all" guessed wrong and Porsche really is bringing out somthing that no one new was coming. To me that is the true definintion of a "spectacular surprise".
