BMW AG: Rolls-Royce 2010 Global Car Sales At 2,711 Vs 1,002 In 2009
BMW AG (BMW.XE) said Sunday that global sales at its ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unit jumped to 2,711 vehicles in 2010 from 1,002 in 2009, fueled by the launch of the new Ghost model and a broad recovery in demand in all major sales regions.

In a statement, the company said sales growth was particularly strong in the Middle East. The U.S., however, remained the brand's largest single market, followed by China and the U.K.

Phantoms can easily go for over 400K. Assuming the average rolls is 350K times 2711 cars equals about a billion dollars. That is a lot of money/profit for so few cars. I recently got a ride in a phantom and the craftsmanship is second to none.
