DETROIT AUTO SHOW: Day 1 Kicks Off Early And 001 Has YOU Covered
As usual, Agent 001 is making moves at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. Leading off with a bright and early 6:30 a.m. press conference was Porsche with the 918 RSR. With 767 horsepower, I think it is safe to say that the other manufacturer's will have a tough act to follow.
But, judging from the FIRST batch of photographs from our spy, it appears that Porsche may have its work cut out for itself.
If you're a fan of interiors, you may want to check out the Audi A8 W12 back seat. Look at that wood! Have you seen anything like that in a production vehicle?

@knowitall
Nope. I wouldn't say so.
I saw spy photos on The Detroit News last week but we couldn't use them. The car appears to be in an early mule stage. Long way to go on that one, sir.

I saw pictures taken on a camera phone. It was from a production meeting in Miami last november. It was supposed to debeut at one of the early 2011 auto shows. I thought detroit would be it. It's more than a test mule though. The car will hit showrooms early spring 2012....
