Anyway, I have to admit that the BMW's test really impress me.

This is why a BMW will run at 120 mph all day long and not break a sweat!!! It's really cool to see BMW sharing some of their Innovations and Technology.

All auto manufacturers do testing. Everything in the video is done by their competitors. You cannot have a vehicle that transports humans lives out on the streets without testing. This does not mean BMW can go the extra mile. Why not? Couldn't hurt and a good marketing tool.

It would be interesting so see what other manufactures do for testing. They may do similar testing. But none of them are as extreme as BMW. V6 engines tend to get tired after a run up to 120 mph. And don't even try to run them for long periods at that speed. Not BMW Inline 6, has stated above BMW automobiles will run at 120 mph all day and not break a sweat. There great handling at high speeds is what make them so much fun to drive.

You are confusing Nuremburg with Nurburgring; two COMPLETELY different things!

I think that a V6 making 250 hp and an I6 making 250 hp would both function about the same. Any German car is very good at high speeds, becasue they are made for long distance high speed travel.
