$4 a gallon, wow, But why do we want smaller? I would seek out a larger vehicle that is as efficient, small is not something I value, its economy that I value.

Smaller is inherently more furl efficient yet sprightly.

Lighter vehicles are clearly better on fuel, but not all small cars are efficient, and then sometimes driving a large SUV is more efficient if you are moving 8-9 people, imagine the gas that it would take 5 Smart cars to transport 9 people as opposed to one SUV, the bus is a good green example, I would rather own a larger vehicle with the equivalent efficiency as a small car.

There is no doubt that $4+ per gallon is on the horizon and I'm proud that GM might be ready this time.
