Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-CELL gets green light for production

At the North American International Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz revealed that it has decided to let the SLS AMG E-CELL enter series production. This is a timely announcement as the automobile will have its 125th anniversary on January 29, during which the carmaker is reaching more groundbreaking accents in the field of electromobility. The battery-electric drive super sports car is able to deliver 392 kW (525 hp) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque.
