GM aims to avoid volatile costs and maintain capital spending, CFO says
In the past few years, General Motors Co. has wasted a lot of money by spending much on product development but later canceling them during economic downturns. But CFO Chris Liddell, who spoke at the Detroit auto show, now asserts that the company will avoid volatile spending. He said that GM will maintain its capital spending constant in both boom and bust years.

Its odd that this truck would represent something that is a waste of money, this is the best thing Chevy has done for there trucks, I also don't see any need for RD, They out source the race shocks, less overhang, larger tires, this is something all of there trucks should come with, it's a no brainer, it's also not very different than the boring one they have now.
