Lexus, The New Car Of Choice For Hollywood Hotties?

Lexus, The New Car Of Choice For Hollywood Hotties?
In the hierarchy of our society, automobiles play a decent part in the way people perceive you. After all, you are what you drive, no? Deny all you want but why is it when I have an exotic sports car people ask me if I get a lot of girl's attention and when I have something that costs about $10,000 everyone laughs?

According to a recent post by AutoEvolution, they believe that the tides are turning in Hollywood. No longer are some of the most gorgeous women on the planet driving big and bad sport-utility vehicles but they are, in fact, turning to Lexus. Not quite sure why they would believe this? Well, you know what they say: "A picture is worth 1,000 words." In other words, they have photographic proof.

If anything, I think these lads are onto something; however, they are a tad too late and talking about the wrong brand.

To pinpoint Hollywood's trends is never easy because they move so fast but I think it's plainly obvious that a lot of A-listers can be found piloting black on black Audis. Whether its an A3, A8 or R8, they're everywhere.

Granted, we have a hunch Audi is helping them out with that.

What do you think is the car of the Hollywood elite these days?

It's time now for an update on what really pretty Hollywood girls drive. Apparently, a new trend has started in the world of young female celebrities: instead of driving imposing American SUVs with a bodyguard in the back, they are shifting to Lexus coupes that are more feminine...

So based on the picture, celebrities are buying cars that are over a decade old? The Lexus SC has been mainly unchanged since inception forever ago and still carries an over 60k price tag. Waste of a vehicle.

I am not a fan of the Boxster so yes a decade old Porsche in that respect is a waste. For less money I could get a decade old Miata to perform better. More de-boosting to come.

I'm shocked you think the SC is a good car, Lexus quality or not, it is very outdated. Similar to the S2000. Would I turn one down, no. But I would probably turn around and sell it to get something that appeals to me more. It's a great car but badly needs/needed an update or cancellation.

Celebrities have been buying Lexus cars for awhile now, especially the SC. Many have began to move on to the Lexus hybrids like their neighbors, but instead of moving to the HSh, some of them decided to maintain their dignity and went for the big LSh or GSh instead.

If I were a celeb I would have a coach built Ferrari from Pininfarina and then I would have a pimp my ride icecream truck!

"Hotties" by cars because it's cute or cool. Do you think they honestly care what the HP or handling is? If the SC looks "cute" then they buy it, done. Celeb's are not gear-heads, so whatever their auto decisions, they're hardly relevant

i love how people on here completely IGNORE FACTS. it's FACT that the average luxury car buyer is in their 40s--yet that gets deboosted. and then an ignorant individual gets boosted for say silly things about starlets buying bmws that have no basis in reality. lol

"Lexus, The New Car Of Choice For Hollywood Hotties?"

Uh no, they are all driving SC's which Lexus no longer makes.

Who is the "celebrity" with the bathtub known as the SC430? What a misinformed human being...

Exactly!! Very funny. What's even more pathetic are the people who de-boosted you. People actually like that thing? Or are they just Lexus Lovers who love everything Lexus, no matter how lame the vehicle is? Lexus has the American mind programmed. I'm glad crap like that doesn't appeal to me, and I feel sorry for the folks who they does appeal to.

Spend a day west of La Cienega and you will see that the Lexus won't crack to the top 20. The SC is an old man Orange County car. (just sayin')

Some celebrities receive free vehicles from dealerships or companys. IT doesn't mean they bought it. There's some food for that for ya.

Nice pic of an old a** Special Toyota. She appears in need to get in the car and drive to the nearest resturant and eat some food that had parents!
