Porsche may launch production in North America and China
According to CEO Matthias Mueller, it appears that Porsche may launch production in North America but also in China in order to double its annual global sales to an impressive 200,000 units. Well-The expression-"Everyones Doing It"I guess applies.Since Audi builds or will build the Suv's for Porsche and they are looking at a US plant it seems a natural for Porsche.

I doubt they're building the 911 outside of Germany; more likely the Cayenne and Cajun. Maybe even the Cayenne.

I would assume many of their models will have 'completing' assembly in their desired country's so not neccesarily a bad thing. In fact it may be more affordable to own a Porsche due to it's factory locations?... nah probably not. Either way the products have strict quality control. If you are Porsche you obviously have had that control for years. It doesn't deter me from buying one if it was made in TN although it's more desireable if it was fully constructed in Germany.
