Getting The Special Treatment, The FIRST Production LFAs Arrive

Getting The Special Treatment, The FIRST Production LFAs Arrive
At first I was skeptical, then I drove it and my eyes were opened. The Lexus LFA production units have hit U.S. soil, finally. Yes, all of the other cars you've seen until now have been prototype units and not part of the 500 cars to be built globally.

According to Kaizen Factory, the first three LFAs arrived yesterday and are destined for their homes. Interestingly enough, they will be going elsewhere besides California.

One intriguing thing I noticed about the production LFA is that the rear "wings" -- above the taillights -- that had exposed screws are now gone. Can you spot any other last minute design changes that made their way onto the production model?

It’s been 10 years in the making but January 18, 2011 was a momentous day for Lexus. This was the day that the first three (of 500) production LFAs arrived on United States soil. It was just a few weeks ago in Japan that Lexus celebrated a milestone with the first production LFA to roll off the assembly line. It was only a matter of time but now the USA has its first LFA units ready to be delivered to their anxious owners...

**Special thanks to Ryan for the tip!

There were official pictures on the european lexus websites since month and I saw LFA in reality as well. The vehicle does not fit with rear spoiler.

I wouldnt expect anything less, when delivering a ridiculously OVERpriced sports car. Still hideous and underwhelming, though.

The LF-A is a nice car. Just not $375,000 nice.

My, my, my... You can tell I have been consumed in my work for the past ten months. I thought this car had already been on sale.

Impressive piece of machinery (none the less). Wish I was one of the people receiving one...

I prefer a 458. Faster, less expensive, better name, better looks, better transmision. Sorry but the LF-A does nothing for me.

WOW!!! What a gorgeous car!! This is the type of car that you want to turn back around to take another peak as you walk away. This is a beautiful piece of work.

"The LF-A is a nice car. Just not $375,000 nice"

Cost also include exclusivity(only 500 to be made) and vast customization options. LFA is surely not targeted towards people like you.

Excuse the ignorance but are they only producing this car for one model year? I keep reading "only 500 copies to be made"...
