Not the drop-dead knockout georgeous stunner that the current CL was when introduced - perhaps this is more of a technical tour-de-force than a exterior design statement?

I think it is just a large strip of reflective tape. Looks good, following the CLS style.

I'll never voice my opinion again until ALL of the body cladding is removed from the "spy shot" vehicles ! The new CL has gone from a Toyota Solara on steroids to a Maybach-esque competitor of the Bentley Continental GT.
