Honda Presents "Experimental" CR-Z At Tokyo Auto Salon

Honda Presents
Although Honda recently introduced the 2011 CR-Z Hybrid, with rumors suggesting that plans are being pushed forward for a turbocharged version, it has become a polarizing vehicle. Aside from its questionable performance -- fuel efficiency and driving dynamics -- the car's look is a toss up as some enthusiasts adore it while others have made it a cast away.

However, as you can see below Honda has been working to give the CR-Z some modifications here and there. Honda is currently saying that it is a big experiment but we want to know:

Do these changes make the CR-Z cooler or geekier?

Revealed at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Honda CR-Z TS-1X hybrid concept car is an impressive lil' beast with its stealthy matte-black paintjob and extensive aerodynamics package. The automaker’s initial press release was short on details, but, luckily, a walk-around clip (or shall we say talk-around?) has surfaced on Youtube, detailing some of the innovations developed by Honda...

LOL obviously turbocharging the CRZ should have been an upgrade available for the "sport" version.

I like this vehicle -- the non "experimental" version too. We have become too jaded. Sad

In part 00R, some purists have come to see hybrids as a joke. But I see this as well as many others to come as part of a new trend that is here to stay. We can have our cake and eat it too. Green and performance need not be mutually exclusive. Let them work out the "green" stuff first, performance will come as the technology improves.
