Ford recalling about 525,000 Windstar minivans
If you own an older model of the Ford Windstar minivan and you’re having cold weather, be warned as the steering control could be reduced with the likelihood that corrosion will lead to a separation of parts under the vans. Last Wednesday, Ford Motor Co. and federal government officials announced the recall of about 525,000 Windstar minivans with 1999 to 2003 model years. Ford said that about 425,000 of the Windstars are registered in the U.S., about 100,000 in Canada, and fewer than 750 in other countries.

Is the Windstar frame used for the base model 2001 Mustang? Mine is completed corroded and broke apart last week! I hope the recall is expanded to cover that.
