Volkswagen Auto Worker Union Demands Doubling Of Raises

German unions rejected an offer from
Volkswagen AG that would give workers a pay rise of 2.9 percent over the next two years and a one-time payment of 300 euros before the end of June.

IG Metall is demanding 6 percent more pay for the next 12 months in talks with VW.
