Volkswagen announces AVILUS research project

Volkswagen has announced a research project called AVILUS that aims to design better, cheaper cars in the future. This project, initiated by Volkswagen and the Virtual Techniques Innovation Alliance (IA VT), will seek the input of many specialists who work for car makers, aircraft manufacturers, shipbuilders and plant and machinery constructors. Volkswagen aims for the attributes to aircraft or ship products to appear in future cars.
