Do you put a premium on being struck by nostalgia? One such person that has taken the custom car world by storm with his creations that seem to step out from the 50s or 60s is designer Gary Fioto. He builds his cars at Chopit Kustoms and one of his masterpieces -- the 1955 Ford "Beatnik" Bubbletop custom concept – will be displayed in Florida for the annual RM Auction in Amelia Island on March 2. The Beatnik is actually a fairly new creation, based on the body of a Ford model of that year; however, it rides on a modified chassis from a 1988 Lincoln Town Car.

Very cool, although I wouldn't feel safe in it, all it needs is a roll bar in the front and back, unfortunately that would take away from it a bit, I would hate to get a rock chip.
