Cayenne helps Porsche post an increase of 34 percent in January 2011 sales

In January 2011, Porsche AG sold 2,400 vehicles in the United States, an increase of 34 percent compared to the deliveries in January 2010. The company said in a statement that Cayenne SUV sales stayed particularly strong, with sales of 1,047 Cayennes, a 77 percent rise from last January 2010. The Panamera was Porsche's second most popular model in the U.S., with sales of 604 units, an increase of 13 percent in 2011.
