HANDS OFF! Marchionne Says Volkswagen Will NEVER Get Alfa Romeo While He Is In Charge
It seems Volkswagen’s efforts to get Alfa Romeo from Fiat are doomed to fail, as CEO Sergio Marchionne has no intent to sell the brand, issuing some harsh words for the VW head.

"As long as I am CEO of Chrysler and Fiat, Mr. [Ferdinand] Piech will never have Alfa Romeo,” Marchionne told a JD Power automotive conference in the US. “It's hands-off. I told him. I will call him and I will email him."

Marchionne is right. Somebody needs to save VW from itself and this mindless bid to control the automotive world. He who seeks to be the biggest car manufacturer in the world will have billions of dollars worth of recalls to face. Word to the wise.

You can tell by their comments that neither Marchionne or Elkann care much for Piech.VW should try and fix Seat. One way would be to sell them in the US.
