What Are They Thinking? Chrysler To Debut a Dodge "Man Van" In Chicago

Chrysler Group LLC wants to attract more men to its minivans as women eschew the segment's unsexy image in favor of sport-utility vehicles.

Chrysler's Dodge Grand Caravan R/T, which the company refers to internally as the “man van” because of styling and features geared to appeal to men, will be on display tomorrow at the Chicago Auto Show. The vehicle will arrive in showrooms in the second quarter. Chrysler hasn't announced its price.

The last "Man Van" I saw was a 1984 Dodge Maxi Van with psychedelic murals on the sides.

The back bumper had a sticker on it that said "Don't Laugh, Your Daughter Is INSIDE".

You never forget a REAL Man Van.

It's not good enough for women who are amazing drivers (ha) and leave it in droves, but it's certainly good enough for MEN????

The T-Rex and all his pals died for a reason!!!! And this brand should not be around either! Save Jeep, sell the rest!

What do you mean, "What are they thinking"? What are they doing differently than the competition? Toyota has a Dad rapping in their commercials and Honda has sparks flying and electric guitars playing with a man drooling over their van.

Anyways, that pic is NOT the R/T model. The R/T model has a body colored grille, front/rear spoiler, different wheels, and lowered ride height. The inside features (R/T exclusive) all black interior with black leather with red stitching and 500 watt nine speaker sound with subwoofer. All this in addition to the class leading 280+ HP under the hood.

May sound like Im a fan but Im not at all. Just sayin...
