Advocates Not Accepting NHTSA Findings On Toyota - Citing Lack Of Effort By NASA

Advocates Not Accepting NHTSA Findings On Toyota - Citing Lack Of Effort By NASA
The word of the rocket scientists apparently wasn't good enough. The Washington safety lobby wants more proof that Toyotas are free from electronic gremlins.

Consumer advocates Clarence Ditlow and Joan Claybrook, both of whom arrived on the public stage during the Carter Administration, wasted no time this week in grabbing microphones to fight the auto industry again.

They said they weren't buying the conclusion of a new report by NASA that relieved electronics from blame for reports of unintended acceleration by Toyota owners.

Why am I not surprised, screw Nasa, screw the NHTSB, Claybrook and the Consumer advocacy groups are gonna go for the cash grab like they always do !
She was always jealous of the recognition Nader got and she'll tear at whatever she can till she comes out looking like Nader.

She failed when people stopped paying attention to the Bush/Enron connection, she failed when no one paid attention to the GM Scandal

She probably thinks Toyota is the soft target she needs !

Clarence Dicwad was the main guy who went after Audi in the 80's. He was wrong then and is wrong now. He needs to retire........

I wonder if these people cling to their beliefs in spite of the facts, or if they are just looking to make money. With the legal system as it is, all you have to do is convince an emotional jury that a big corporation is evil, and you have a guilty virdict.
