2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe Official Photos
The first official photos of the long awaited 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe have made their way online a month prior to its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

Sadly, those of us in the U.S. will have to wait until September to purchase the new Mercedes Coupe, that will enter into direct competition with the BMW 3-Series and the Audi A5. Sources at Mercedes-Benz have suggested that pricing of the new C-Class will closely resemble prices seen on the E-Class Coupe and similarly powered C-Class Sedan's.

Based on the same mechanical package as that of the C-class sedan, with which it shares its 113-inch wheelbase, The new C-class coupe retains the same basic styling cues as its four-door big brother, however the coupe offers a more sporty two-door layout and a 1.6" lower roofline. To finish the coupe off, Mercedes completed the C-Class Coupe with B-pillars, a feature not seen on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe.

Two standard versions of the C-Class Coupe are planned for sale in North America including the entry-level C250 CGI with a 201-hp turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, and the C350 CGI with a 302-hp naturally aspirated V6 engine, claiming to boast a 0-to-62-mph acceleration in 6.0 seconds.

I think MB did a really good job with this C-class coupe, from this pictures it look really good. But I need to see more pictures to compare it to the other coupe in it class.

the new C-Class will closely resemble prices seen on the E-Class Coupe and similarly powered C-Class . am i the only one that this makes no sense? priced as a e with power of a c why not just get the e.

If the information regarding pricing is factual, i agree it's a big mistake. I dont foresee Mercedes Benz pricing this in E-coupe territory though.

As for the car itself, I dig the design but the c-pillar kink just does not make sense. Should have continued on without the kink, similar to the last gen CLK and E-class coupe.

Otherwise, it's a handsome car. Took long enough to be released though.

Hey Mercedes... Honda called and they want their entire side-design back.

Not a single original design element in this car.

the market will accept 4cyl engines in the c-class plus a longer options list to pile things on...they wouldn't accept it in the E-class. E buyers want loaded to come standard...hence the c-class can have an attractive starting price but could easily approach e-class pricing if loaded up.

Well so far I like it more than the 3 series, and in AMG package it will be amazing specialy if they goes to CLK.

This could be my next car. It looks great. Will the 4-cylinder make it to the US? I don't really need the V6.

Is it me or do the wheels look to small for the body of the car?

Looks like the Honda Accord coupe especially from the rear/side window.
