Audi TT-RS presented at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show before sales announcement
It was eagerly anticipated for Audi to reveal the arrival date of the most powerful version of its small coupe but already, the TT-RS has been showcased at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show. AutoGuide said that Audi Canada expects to pull a similar move this month at the Canadian International Auto Show before the sales start expected this year. But then, the coupe is set to reach the U.S. in limited numbers. Audi chose to do this after its Facebook petition page gathered in excess of 11,500 signatures after only a month.

Putting this against an M1 would be an interesting match. I know one is a full fledged coupe and the othe is a 2+2...but maybe at their respective price points (guessing here)...people might cross-shop these two. Just a thought.

I love that it's an I-5 turbo, pretty unique.

Not to mention that the Audi is an all-wheel drive, a must for those in the snow-belt, icy road regions.

I wonder if the 5 cylinder is related to the N/A 5 cylinder in the Jetta. If so, with the turbo, it would make a hell of a good performing Jetta if it was combined with AWD.
