Due to reports of engine stalls, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is reviewing 97,272 Volkswagen cars equipped with 2-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engines. Those fuel pumps are manufactured by a supplier, NOT VW.

Yes, but much like Toyota's situation with their supplier for accelerators, the ultimate burden will be put on VW.
