SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's S-Class Spotted, What Does MB Have To Do To Beat The Competition?

As we've seen the Mercedes-Benz S-Class come and go, it has aged quite a bit. With the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series and Jaguar XJ, the S-Class seems quite old school at this point.

But don't fret because the new S-Class has been spied again, this time wearing what is essentially a garbage bag.

Flaunting itself in a what looks like a faux leather jacket, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz S-Class took to the streets in Germany, only to be caught by photographers. Based on the latest batch of spy photos and those we have seen in the past, the new Mercedes S-Class appears to be longer in length and boasts a slightly bigger wheelbase...

LOL, the S Class invented its segment and it is still the overall winning package. Now, that doesn't mean that it can rest in its laurels. I actually like the fact that the 7 Series and the A8 exist to remind Benz about it.

Its biggest competition will be the current model. I think its one of the classiest automobiles I've ever seen. The new 7 and A8 don't come close, and don't kid yourself with the LS or XJ being comparable.

I think the name of this article should read as so: Mercedes Benz S-Class spotted what does the competition have to do to compete with the S-class. The current S-class has been around for a long time, true. However, with the amg kit it's perhaps the best looking car in it's class. Yes, looks are always subjective. However, sales numbers arn't.
